Well, I caught a glimpse of what I expect will be the realm of my next computer purchase; A cheap, functional and powerful netbook with built in UMTS modem and a high resolution LED backlit convertible tablet display with SSD drive and enough RAM to do real tasks and drive a feature rich desktop.
Of course all of this would have to come with a bit of help from our friends at Google in the form of a subsidised netbook.
The idea of a non-Intel ARM (Cortex A9?) chip that is more powerful than the Atom is also very appealing, and opens the door for a sweet Debian based system, similar to my NSLU2, except a Desktop netbook.
